ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday issued Senate ticket to its party worker from Balochistan against a vacant seat.
The seat fell vacant after Iqbal Zafar Jhgra resigned before he was made Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The party awarded Senate ticket to Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasir after the prime minister approved the name.
Yaqoob hails to Balochistan and has been issued the ticket against a vacant seat of Islamabad.
Asif Kirmani had also applied for the ticket.
